This renovation to a dated 1980s house outside of Aspen was a delightful exercise in embracing elegance while deferring to the stunning natural landscape. The interior of the home was clarified in plan to provide increased connectivity and practicality for a modern family. When just the four primary members of the family this home is backdrop to snowball fights and pancakes. At other times it swells to hold rambunctious parties comfortably. The rugged palate was complemented with moderns touches and provocative finishes to lend an air of both sophistication and elegance.
